Scott and Bethany met as teenagers when they would spend their summer holidays together. Bethany kept her horses at a farm which was owned by Scott’s dad. Bethany and Scott would spend their days hanging out like teenagers do, when the heavens opened and they had to seek shelter in the barn. They sprinted across the fields to the barn, stopped and looked at each in fits of giggles. They embraced each other and shared their first kiss, this was the moment they knew they wanted to be together.
They knew they had to get married at a barn and when they visited Bashall Barn, they instantly knew it was the place perfect place for them. When they set a date, they contacted Rhymes to Remember to ask them to right something for their wedding. After they told Sally, from Rhymes to Remember their story, she came up with this beautiful piece of wording for their special day...
“Be it day or night. Come sun or rain. Kiss me once, then kiss me again”
This poem would be the theme for their day. Bethany wore an absolutely stunning dress by Bowen Dryden, which had the most beautiful 3D flowers which gave the dress that added wow factor. This was after visiting Jayne from Foxglove Brides who listened to Bethany's needs and found her the most perfect dress. Scott wore a pale green suit from ASOS to compliment the green elements in Bethany's dress. Bethany's hair was by Sharn from Feelin' Mint who created the beautiful plaited bun. The makeup was contact free guided by Kerry from Kerry Baker MUA who did an amazing job at talking the bride through applying bridal make up. The most stunning flowers were created by the super talented Hollie and Kat from Moss Floral Artistry who created the most beautiful arrangements. On styling and props the lovely Sarah from Stories of Events pulled it out of the bag like always and arranged the tables and rooms in the most exquisite way! The wedding cake and delicious sweet treats were provided by the super gifted Margaret from Rosehill Cake Studio. Earth Links Bridal provided Bethany with beautiful hair accessories and jewellery. They got the lovely Deborah on board from True To You Celebrancy who performed the ceremony, which included the couple making and drinking gin to seal the deal. Annabel from Pawfect Occasions was our Dog Chaperone for the day to look after couple's dog. The beautiful wedding stationery was designed by the talented Emily from Designs by Emily. Sally's poem from Rhymes to Remember was hand written onto the backdrop by Jenni from Handmade Design Co.
On the day the sun was beaming down which allowed the couple to make use of all the outdoor space that Bashall Barn had to offer. Including a confetti moment by their gorgeous pond, and the couple made use of their balcony which looks out on to the most gorgeous mountain backdrop.
